About Harry Potter

Our Harry Potter world takes place in an alternate timeline. The events of books 1 through 4 have happened, and we began during the summer before Harry's fifth year. So everything is canon up until the end of Goblet of Fire, and has developed from there.

From there, we have diverged from the story of Order of the Phoenix, though we have chosen to take many of the elements from it (the Order has formed and is using Grimmauld Place as its base; Umbridge is High Inquisitor of Hogwarts and has set up her Inquisitorial Squad; there has been a mass breakout of Death Eaters from Azkaban; etc.). However, some of these elements have a different spin, and others have gone in a different direction entirely!
