Why do we make you go through a +confirm step and policy room here on Nexus if this is an invite-only game?
Occasionally, we get random drive-bys. I'm not sure how people figure out our address and connect, though there was at least one person who said they got our address from zMUD (I'm thinking it's the address for a long-since closed game and we're getting their occasional zMUD-advertising traffic). Ithink that on the wiki, somewhere, the address might be available.
For whatever reason, occasionally, we get people showing up who really should not be here because no one has invited them and no one here knows them. So, our +confirm and policy room steps keep the unknowns off of Nexus.
As such, it is our policy to nuke anyone who logs off in the Player Starting Room or Policy Room without +confirm'ing first. It's nothing personal; we just don't have a clue as to who you are.
