Harassment is a repeated behaviour which should be known by the individual to be unwelcome, by a rough definition. This is a topic we take very seriously here. Players and staff alike do not need to endure harassment. If someone is repeatedly bothering you, please take the following steps:
Tell them to stop the particular behaviour. Be direct and clear about what you wish them to stop. If it is a subject matter you are not comfortable with, ask them to stop talking about it in your presence. If they are asking you for your instant messenger ID and you don't want to give it to them, tell them that and tell them to stop asking. Whatever it is, ask them to stop. /Do not/ engage in an argument with them. The best defense is to back away and continue to the next steps.
Pagelock the person if they are paging you and doing so persistently.
If you are in the same room as this person, remove yourself from the room in question. Whomever was there first does not matter at this point.
Contact staff if the individual persists beyond this point to trouble you. Page an on-duty staff member or @mail *staff.
