Gaming Spaces

Nexus accommodates a variety of roleplaying and storytelling needs through its virtual spaces.

Create…

First and foremost is the ability of any player (at but a simple request from a wizard to set them up) to create whatever virtual space they have an interest in creating. They can create any room or series of rooms they wish. Server space is not an issue at this point, so we're not overly concerned about bloat right now. Basic building guidelines should be observed, certainly, but if you want to RP in it, you can likely build it.

Use Modular Space…

There are several multi-purpose rooms which work on a modular space concept. Essentially, anyone can take control of one of these rooms, slap up a description of the setting they wish to make use of, and then go nuts with it. These are single room set-ups that can represent just about anywhere you can imagine. Adding @descs is not mandatory, but doing so provides a better variety of options to future room users.

Pre-Existing Grids…

Some players have already created RP grids on the game such as Hogwarts, London and Diagon Alley in Harry Potter, Piggleton of Twisted Fairy Tales and Forks from Twilight. These spaces are generally free for anyone to make use of. If they are not, they will be locked initially with instructions on how to gain access, but most should not be. This would be a rare thing. Feel free to browse and play at your leisure. If you wish to add to it, speak to the room owner and / or staff.

Mailing List for Those Who Can't Meet Up…

For those whose schedules stop meshing up, the Google Groups mailing list has been set up to provide an option to RP over time via email while not excluding the group from joining in, if permitted.
